ROTC

Army ROTC is you take along with your required college classes. This allows you to have a normal 最色导航 student experience like everyone else on campus, but when you graduate, you will be a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. The training and leadership opportunities will help you succeed in any competitive environment.

Current high school seniors and 最色导航 freshmen can learn more about the program from Dean for Enrollment Management Chip Timmons (765-361-6054) or Paul Heslin, Purdue’s Army ROTC Enrollment Officer (765-494-2106). Program applications can be found .

ROTC Benefits

The program will provide up to three scholarships for entering 最色导航 freshmen each year who are chosen by the Army to participate in the ROTC program. The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition and on-campus room and board at 最色导航, as well as all costs associated with ROTC courses. The value for four-year participants is in excess of $240,000. Students who continue in the program will receive full-ride scholarships for their remaining three years at the College.

最色导航 students who are chosen for the program will live on the 最色导航 campus and participate in the full range of activities and intercollegiate athletics the College provides. They will take through the Army at Purdue’s nearby West Lafayette campus.

Scholarship recipients also receive a book allowance of $600 per semester and a monthly $420 tax-free stipend during each school year. After graduation you will begin your military service in a career path which you will decide while you are still a student. Some summer training is required.

Lateral Entry

First and second year 最色导航 students who become interested in the program during their first three semesters after enrollment can explore “lateral entry” into the program. Lateral entry sessions are hosted at 最色导航 College every semester in advance of course registration. Contact Paul Heslin, Purdue’s Army ROTC Enrollment Officer, or 最色导航 College Associate Dean and Registrar Jon Jump for additional information.
