GHI members come from all majors and professional interests.

• If you are considering becoming a doctor or health professional, the GHI provides numerous opportunities to engage in community health.
• If you are interested in non-profit entrepreneurship, project management, community building and administration, the GHI offers real-world applications to address real-world problems.
• If you are interested in languages, humanities, and the fine arts, the GHI gives you a powerful lens through which to see the world, develop your skills, create and communicate a story, and advocate for the underserved.
• If you like the social sciences, GHI programs involve work in policy development, sociology, history, and psychology.
